The correspondence covers extensively the St. Patrick piece in gold from the Norweb collection and its eventual donation to American Numismatic Society. Correspondence ranges from 1962 to 2001 and includes John J. Ford, Jr., Walter Breen, Ken Bressett, David Spink, R. Henry Norweb, Q. David Bowers, Michael Hodder, Lester Merkin, David Spink, Elston Bradfield, and others. Included in the file and not scanned are multiple drafts and manuscripts, including one in Newmans hand, and published clips relating to St. Patrick coinage.

Correspondence runs from 1958 and 1960 and includes the British Numismatic Society, Library Company of Philadelphia, and British Museum. Included in the file but not scanned here are article proofs, drafts, an article offprint, and also manuscript material for the related article "Counterfeit Continental Currency Goes to War," published in The Numismatist, January 1957.
Correspondence and research notes related to Eric P. Newman's article "Poor Richards Mottoes for Coinage" published in The Numismatist in December 1956. This issue also included Newman's article "Franklin and the Bank of North America."
