These early $1 bills saw hard use in making change, so strictly Uncirculated notes are rare. This is well printed, has good margins, and shows minimal handling. The note is nearly as made. The face emblem shows a wreath on a tomb with the motto SI RECTE FACIES (If you act righteously you will be honored after death). Very well margined and centered on both sides.
