- (Circa-1850) Pine Tree Sixpence Silver Wyatt Copy, Kenney-4, MS63Wyatt's copy of the W-670 Pine Tree sixpence is deceptive except for the 5 in the date, which is overly narrow. Toned light dove-gray overall, though hints of autumn-brown emerge beneath a light, and a blush of deeper gunmetal color accompanies the SA in MASATHVSETS. Unabraded and satiny. The obverse is moderately misaligned toward 4:30. The reverse is well centered. The upper reverse is clashed. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. Heritage Auctions 11/2018 (Newman XI), lot15015 (realized $2880). Heritage link: http://www.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=1283&lotIdNo=11722

- (Circa-1850) Massachusetts Pine Tree Threepence Silver Wyatt Copy, Kenney-5, MS62Thomas Wyatt's credible facsimile of the Noe-36 Pine Tree threepence. Two long die scratches from the first T in MASATHVSETS identify the copy. The dies were out of parallel, which causes a sharp strike on the lower obverse and left reverse, while the upper obverse and right reverse are lightly brought up. The obverse is mostly cream-gray, and the reverse is a somewhat deeper steel-gray. No marks are apparent. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. Heritage Auctions 11/2018 (Newman XI), lot15014 (realized $3360). Heritage link: http://www.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=1283&lotIdNo=11703
