Correspondence between Eric Newman and a collection of others, including state senators and members of the Missouri Historical Society, on the topic of passing a legislative bill to allow the creation of a commemorative coin celebrating the 150 year anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase. The bill was ultimately vetoed by President Eisenhower and the coin was never created. Correspondents include George H. Moore; Thomas B. Curtis; William W.
