Correspondence between Eric Newman and Pembroke Herbert on the topic of Herbert using images from Newman's "Early Coins of America" for several history textbook projects he worked on. The following materials are loose items found in the correspondence which may or may not have been scanned depending on date published: 1) Enlarged photocopy of a fugio cent attached to a October 14, 1984 letter from Herbert. 2) A photocopy of a section of an unidentified book on early American currency attached to a October 14, 1984 letter to Herbert. 3) Two tearsheets from "Legacy of Freedom", the textbook that used Newman's images, attached to a July 18, 1985 letter from Herbert. 4) Collection of seven glossy photographs of assorted coins minted at Philadelphia, presumably from Newman's collection, attached to a July 18, 1985 letter from Herbert.
