A large group of material related to the 1796 Dr. Edwards Copy, mostly the detailed research and records that Tett assembled in researching his article on the Edwards Copy for Penny-Wise in 1988. Among the items are:
1) Correspondence from several numismatists on the subject including Walter Breen, Dave Bowers, Remy Bourne, Eric Newman, Jim McGuigan, and the ANS among others.
2) Tett’s efforts to track the past sales of this coin which includes copies of multiple historical auctions in which an Edwards Copy was sold, as well as his notes on the prices and weights of the various coins.
3) Working drafts of the manuscript for Penny-Wise, both handwritten and typed.
4) Letters between Harry Salyards and Tett regarding the publication of his article.
5) Copies of the final article.
6) A few numismatic articles in which the 1796 Edwards copy is mentioned.
