MAC (Modern Approved Coin) is taking up where C.A.C. (Certified Acceptance Corporation) leaves off. Eighteen percent of all certified coins today are "Traditionals" (pre-1950). Eighty-two percent are Modern Issues. M.A.C. can show collectors/dealers how to increase the value of their existing NGC/PCGS coins. United States classic commemorative half dollars were minted from 1898 until 1954. This talk will center on how many of these half dollars were marketed and how various shortfalls and attempts to sell more coins lead to different varieties in this series. Thomas A.
