1824 MS N-3, R.2 -- Incomplete Planchet, Environmental Damage -- NGC Details. AU. An incomplete planchet, otherwise known as a curved clip, is centered at 5 o'clock relative to the obverse. Flowlines obliterate the dentils on this late die state cent. Rich steel and olive-brown surfaces exhibit moderate porosity, especially evident on the reverse. Our EAC grade VF20. Ex: Eric P.
