Early Paper Money of America (NNP Edition)|£30,000 in four year 6% interest indented bearer Notes authorized on Jan. 14, 1777 and April 1, 1777 to pay bounties to Continental troops. Typeset with UNION worked into the ornamental borders. The month and day of issuance is handwritten. The denomination is both printed and handwritten. Signers were Noah Emery, Nicholas Gilman, and John Smith. These did not circulate as currency.
