Early Paper Money of America (NNP Edition)|

Indented certificates in dollar denominations printed in red and black on a sheet containing four subjects with different borders of ornamental type. Bills contained Light blue circular seals. By error the seals for the $2 and $4 were transposed on part of the issue. Bills with borders (c) and (d) are also found in the 1776 maroon seal issue and the dateless issue. Signers were Peter Bard, William Ewen, William Gibbons, James Habersham, George Houstoun, Peter LaVien, Lachlan McGillivray, William O'Bryen, William Stephens, Edward Telfair, and Richard Wylly. There were five signers of each certificate.

$1 Justice. SUSTINE RECTUM. Two border varieties. Same borders as $4 varieties (a) and (b).
$2 Floating jugs. SI COLLIDIMUS FRANGIMUR. Two border varieties. Same borders as $4 varieties (c) and (d).
$2 Liberty Cap. LIBERTAS CARIOR AURO. (Erroneous seal). Same borders as $4 variety (c).
$4 Liberty Cap. LIBERTAS CARIOR AURO. Four border varieties:
(a) All right border ornaments are identical.
(b) Odd ornament below middle in right border.
(c) Odd ornament above middle in right border.
(d) Exclamation point at center of inside line of left border.
$4 Floating jugs. SI COLLIDIMUS FRANGIMUR. (Erroneous seal). Same border as $4 variety (d).
$10 Millstone on palm tree. OPPRESSA SURGIT. Two border varieties. Same borders as $4 varieties (a) and (b).
$20 Rattlesnake. NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSET
