Speaking of Missing Items - Ray - How is "Curious" doing?

letter from Kolbe saying that they didn't receive my payment that
they could determine. He said that the catalogs were sent 4 months
earlier. I looked all over the house and could not locate the
catalogs nor did I remember receiving them. I looked through the two
check books and I had not written a check for these books either.
Well, after another couple weeks without finding the catalogs, AND
George had sent me a copy of the package tracking record with my
signature, I sent George the check. There were no problems on either
end of this situation. Another six months goes by and looking for a
work by Eric Newman on the Chain Link Design (a must for Fugio
collectors - Numismatist Nov 1983) I found the missing catalogs
along with the bill and a missing checking statement, all on the
bottom of one of my piles of numismatic "stuff". I immediately
emailed George to let him know I found the material and it was all my
fault. (Those that know me know the "check's in the mail" the
    following day).
    > And just general statement that I've never had any problem with
    a numismatic book dealer.
