Gord, I like the allergic elepahnt with a cold analogy. I think that may
fit me to some extent. My daughter has slept with a fan( for "white noise")
for years, as she finally told me, due to me. David

I dealt with guys from my father(who could be heard 2 doors down the
street) through both my brothers to my room mate in university(who could
compete with a allergic elephant with a bad cold) who to a one all denied
they were doing it. Drag. Kudos to you fellows who admit it and do
something about it. Those close to you should love you for it.

3-4 weeks is how long it took to get back to me too.
I assume you snore badly? Does your wife tell you that you stop breathin=
    g
    while you sleep?
If so, then I already know what they are going to tell you.
You will be doing the same thing I have to do now.

John, I just went thru a sleep study June 30th, and they told me it would
take 3-4 weeks to get the results back! It's driving me nuts. I can't
    function properly, anymore. David

Thanks David. I was feeling pretty helpless for a while during all these
    tests.=20
My son was starting to feel like a pin cushion.
Tonight he is having a sleep study done.
I just went through this myself.
They found that I stopped breathing 87 times in one hour!
    Remember Reggie White?.....sleep apnea!
With this new aparatus, I have never slept more soundly.
My wife made me go! She was right. :(

    Roger,
    Keep up the good work!
I just had a conversation with one of your buddies?/fellow moorestonians
Harvey W. returned my call and we talked about my 17 year old son, John
    Jr.
...who has been experiencing dizziness and blackouts.
I trust H.W.'s expertise in this area and I am going to send him all the
    test results from others.
The heart ultrasound was OK, but his blood pressure dropped to 50 after
    the
tilt table test.....and remained there for 10 minutes!
    Scary.
Anyway, I'm sure that you are doing a good job despite sometimes doubting=
    .
Don't forget that you can always rely on the Great Physician.

Neil - an exhausted high cost medical practitioner. These last two weeks
have been very busy with very difficult cases day after day. Thank
goodness, they have all done well. Today I had an 84 year old woman for
aortic valve replacement and coronary bypasses. If you don't know it
already, an 84 year old woman - or man for that matter - is extremely
fragile. Luckly she did well but "doing well" means a lot of hard
stressful hours!! I am really looking forward to this weekend which is
    the
first one I have been entirely off in three months. Of course my wife ha=
    s
planned a picnic while I would rather be doing coins but what can I say.=
    =20
Maybe I will get a little bird watching in!!! I had an ornothology cours=
    e
in college and have my Peterson's close by most of the time. My wife and
    I
rent the cottage in New Orleans every year which Audubon used as his
painting studio for his tremenous work. Roger

After their 11th child, an hill billy couple decided that was enough as
    they=20

The Alabamian said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest tool in the=

    home,=20
