Ange d'Or 上市 Deposited
A large French gold coin first struck under Philip VI of Valois (1328-1350). It receives its name from the crowned angel on the obverse, who is rep- resented seated under a canopy, his feet over a dragon, holding in one hand a long cross and in the other a shield with the fleurs de lis.
