Centésimo Public Deposited
A copper coin of various countries, which, as its name indicates, is the one-hundredth part of some larger and frequently standard coin. Thus, in Italy, Lombardy, Venice, and San Marino, 100 Centesimi equal one Lira; in Uruguay 100 Centesimi equal one Peso; etc.
