• Born in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Received B.A. from Yale in 1886. Attended Harvard Law School. Married Grace Firth Welles April 12, 1909. Practiced law with Teller, Orahood and Morgan 1888 to 1898.

  Resident of Denver, Colorado. President of the State Historical and Natural History Society of Colorado. In 1914 he exhibited early Denver mint and territorial gold coins at the ANS.
