Missouri Journal of Numismatics

The Missouri Journal of Numismatics, vols. 24 to date, has been posted on the Portal in the Library, under Periodicals.  We will be scanning the earlier issues in the near future.  The Newman Numismatic Portal acknowledges the Missouri Numismatic Society for granting permission to present this periodical.Eric P. Newman was a charter member of the Missouri Numismatic Society.  Formed in 1938, initial member numbers were assigned by drawing numbers out of a hat, and Eric joined as charter member #4. Eric's mentor, St. Louis dealer Burdette G. Johnson, was also a charter member. Newman served as the Society's Vice-President for its first club year, 1938-1939.
