R. W. Julian Scans Mint Records at U.S. National Archives

Operating under a grant from the Central States Numismatic Society, researcher R. W. Julian has directed the scanning of over 39,000 pages of material from the U.S. National Archives & Records Administration (NARA). The Mint material is primarily in record group 104, and this record group is further divided into various entries. Many of these entries are now posted in Archive section on the Newman Portal, listed under the U.S. National Archives. This material is generally handwritten within ledgers, and while not transcribed, is now accessible to readers without the necessity of physically visiting an archival repository.The Newman Portal acknowledges R.
