Early Paper Money of America (NNP Edition)|5,000 in indented Bills of Credit approved by the June 8, 1709 Act and receivable for taxes without interest. Printed by William Bradford from set type and with a scroll wood cut at the top for indenture. Blank backs. Four notes were printed side by side on one sheet. Signers were Johannes DePeyster, Robert Lurting, Lawrence Reade, and Robert Walter.
