Early Paper Money of America (NNP Edition)|£40,000 in indented Lawful Money Bills without legal tender status and authorized on Mar. 1, 1734/35 to exchange for genuine handwritten bills of the Nov. 27, 1729 issue, which were worn, and many of which had been counterfeited. Engraved and containing the date in the vignette. Signers were Eleazer Allen, James Castollan, William Downing, and Cullen Pollock.
