Hello.
I would like to remind all new members that it would be beneficial for them to read through the previous messages that have been posted to the C4 e-group before you joined. There is some helpful information available. I noticed that some of the members do not know how to view the posted images files on the C4 group page, so I am re-posting this message (see below).

C4 Members,
I wanted to mention to the list members some of the features that are available at egroups.com.
First, as you probably know, we can send image attachments (or any other kind for that matter) with our e-mail messages.
Secondly, egroups.com gives each list 20 MB of free file storage space on their site. This is a very handy way to "post" images and other types of files that you don't want to send to everyone on the list via e-mail attachment. I have uploaded a nice image file (Vlack 9-76b). You can see the files that are stored for our group by clicking on the "Files" menu item.
Third, there is a "Calendar" feature which is not great but it's OK. I have entered the ANA Convention for August. The nice thing about the Calendar is that you can specify when to notify members via e-mail concerning upcoming events.
Fourth, there is a "Links" menu item that may be useful. I've entered some relevant links as examples.
I have not played with the "Database" and "Chat" items yet.
For all e-group tasks, just go to http://www.egroups.com/group/colonial-coins and use the menu on the left side (bookmark this link).
In addition to the e-groups.com site, there are several Internet sites offering "free" file storage space on the web. The only cost is that they insert a banner at the top of your web pages. For instance, FortuneCity.com now offers 100 MB of free web space to each account. So, if you have two e-mail addresses, you can quickly get 200 MB of free web space in minutes. If you are a club that has 330 members, ..... you can do the math.
Virtually,
Bob
