I suspected Rock's appearance was the spark that set off this
fire. I guess I'm just not as dogmatic as others are on that
issue. Why does the club need a private forum? I'd like to see
the list open to all, with a form of moderation provided by club
members to newbies on an ad hoc basis. Any private matters can be
dealt with by private email or conference calls. There's nothing
in the C4 Journal that I can't see posted on the net without bad
affect, including the treasurer's report. The publication is
public, after all, and anyone who wants to know how much $$ is in
the kitty can easily find out. What else is there to hide?
Anyway, it's all moot now so there's no point in beating this
dead horse anymore.
