Hi Dan, I've never worried about getting a receipt, in fact there have been = times that I'd hoped that the seller wouldn't realize that I was = purchasing a much more valuable counterfeit from them. As far a receipts go, I think it could be less than face value, face = value, or more than face value. After all, I believe that Boggs does his = "trades" at face value?! If I were to sell such an item, all that I = would worry about is having "counterfeit" written or stamped on the = holder in a cash transaction. With a check, a receipt may be a wiser = choice, again, with "counterfeit" specified. I still haven't solved the Washington Qtr. dilema, as it is "currenet = money," but I suppose that you could call it "art?!" I will admit that I = once sold a Federal type collection to a dealer friend, all of which had = my "counterfeit" rubber stamp on the every holder. Of course, he bought = that for "educational" reasons and as a counterfeit "reverence."=20 All in all, I don't worry about it AT ALL! Byron P.S. I enjoyed your "cherrypicker" column, I'll keep my eye on that guy = next time!
