I am the first to admit that I never watch the shopping channel.
Flipping the remote, I came across the Coin Vault on Saturday. Two
shrill voices with numismatic knowledge from the Redbook were hawking
slabbed MS69 1/10 oz gold from 2000 and 2001 with a ticking clock. I
was greatly amused at the TV state of numismatics. When will we see
slabbed colonials sold under a ticking clock on TV (or have they been
