Hi Eric!
I would suggest taking photos of your coins and leaving the coins in a
safe deposit box at home. If you MUST have your coins at school, and they
must be shipped, registered mail is the way. If you read the fine print,
UPS and FEDEX will not insure coins. As far as books go, I'd double box
them and ship UPS ground, and insure them for the replacement cost. Mark
"BOOKS" on the outside of the box.
