Thanks for the comment on Wood 15. I did at one point discussed with Charles about spectra analysis of Blacksmiths, but he was hesitant. If it is copper, there are enough trace metals to make it difficult. You are right, a number of 14's would have to be included. Our time frame is difficult, lacking the photoing of the largest Blacksmith collection on Long Island. Hope we can clear this up in near future.
It was good to hear from you--do you have any other rarer Blacksmiths? Amazingly enough, we have virtually none of the rarer pieces reported except from the museum collections. We do have photos of all Bank of Canada pieces, but need those from ANS (especially the Gilbody-Fuld-Francis group).
We do have the full cooperation of Warren, so we should be able to move once LI group is photoed (we do have the inventory of pieces).
