Hey Byron,
So the counterfeits in the back caught your eye. I kinda like them myself. At one time I had a couple of Wyatt's copies but sold them. I decided to keep this one, Which is really a Bishop copy. I liked it because it is a mule, Pine tree III Obv with an Oak tree II Rev, and because it is struck in COPPER! See note 3 under Edwin Bishop, pages 2 & 3, in Kenny's Struck Copies pamphlet, where he intimates Bishop only struck two sets in copper. I think it was Mike Hodder who told me he has seen more then two though. Whatever, it's kool.
Anyone else familiar with this piece and its true rarity?
Clem

But I did notice one of those pieces that you like in the sale, Dan! I don't know that much about Mass. silver, but I do like the way that they were put into a catalog by themselves. The counterfeits at the end caught my eye! Byron
