Hey all,
Well I'm a happy camper! I just won my first 38-a New Jersey. Traditionally
rated as an R4 I feel this is way to low and probably should be a R5+
anyway. This was one of very few that I've ever had a shot at in the 12
years I've been collecting them. In my personal notes I only have 13 listed.
Not much of a condition census either, 1 EF then 5 VF's. This one looks like
a nice F+. Ray you should be getting to 38-a soon, no? What's your feeling
on the rarity of this issue? So that makes 81 varieties for me. I'm hoping
to add maybe one or two on average per year for the next ten years, and then
I guess I'll be done, in as far as I can go. Just wanted to share the
moment.
