Hi All!
On page 1357 of the December 1945 issue of the Numismatist, it is written that a Mr. Purrington brought 3 NJ Coppers to the New Jersey Numismatic Society for exhibits. One of the coins was supposed to be a Maris 27-j. Does anyone know who this Mr. Purrington is, any pedigree information relating to this coin?
Thanks,
Ray
