    Hi !
Please correct me if you know any different... I was under the
impression that trichlorotriflouroethane is a carcinogen, maybe a form of
Freon, but is used for removal of surface PVC (polyvinylchloride) from
coins. On my bottle of Blue Ribbon, is says,"Contains 1,1,1-Trichloriethane
and a lubricant". I see a difference in the spelling between what Roy had
on his bottle of Care and what I read on my bottle of Blue Ribbon. It could
be a typo or it could be two different carcinogens. Dan F, can you help out
    here?
Another thought... If CARE was taken off the market for carcinogens,
possibly there may be a FDA report condemning the product, which may contain
the ingredients. If a patent were applied for, the contents could be there.
Isn't there a poison control center that has a national registry of products
that are poison? They'd have to know what's in it in order to recommend a
treatment for poison... I'm just going off the top of my head here - I
wouldn't know how to proceed. Any thoughts?

    Ray
