My Brand X (COIN CARE, from BETTERBILT CHEMICALS of LA VERNE, CALIF 91750) came in a white plastic bottle and has a nice minty smell.. The label states that it "removes soil and coatings.... " Not true. I use Xylene anyway to clean my coppers, and that it "adds a lubricant as a protective film." True, probably silicone judging by the feel of it, but it evaporates in a few days. So, as I said in an earlier email, I use it only on cheap coppers that I plan to sell.
