I am also looking forward to the test results. Although I have done
trace metal analysis in the laboratory this was simply for simple
quantitative determinations. The results here need to be compared to
one another in terms of fingerprints in the trace metals.
Additionally certain levels of certain metals mean cetain things in
terms of the coins alloy composition, the extraneous constituents
from the production process and even the geological influences from
the surrounding area.
Hopefully, the english evasions or england products will show a
higher copper purity and the American coins a lower copper purity.
Large data bases are needed which is something you are probably not
doing. But at least your doing.
See if the lab can give you the lab procedure and type of instrument
to report along with the results. Looking for specific mettalic
elements is also important. Your hit list is important. We will see.
