Hi Leo,
Not sure what the analysis of the (8) small heads might be, maybe that you have way to many 1.1-A'a on hand, only kidding! In preparation for my second meeting with Niton I plan on having as much detailed information logged on data sheets for every coin to be tested, what results or conclusions will or can be drawn from that, well we will see. It all may be nothing more than an affirmation that a struck copper coin is mostly pure copper and that a cast or struck coin on a cast blank has a metal composition of various metals.
The one thing different this time will be that a substantial number of coins will be tested and any trend that develops will be left open to discussion. I've also made arrangements with Volker from Niton that a spreadsheet will be used with prior data already established for each coin such as weight and diameter measurements. I've also asked for any other suggestions in setting the format which will allow time to alter the spreadsheet before June 17 and June 21st. the other difference is that the speadsheet will be on my Dell Laptop and I will be able to email the results easily to all who want a copy of the results as well as download the data ina PDF file to the group site.
