Hi All! Unlike many (but not all) of you, I am married to a banker and never see a bill in the mail box. So if anything is for me, it's normally fun stuff. I received Several items today. First was a box of C4 papers from the early days sent from John K. When Mike Hodder advertised to write him a letter to join C4, all these were saved. Just quickly looking through, the original letter I sent to Mike was there. I wrote mine the day before Clem Schettino wrote his. Guess I have seniority :-) ! I'm nbot sure exactly what to do so I'll have these kept with the club librarian for now. I also received a copy of Lou Jordan's book. WOW! I've had the privledge of seeing several developing drafts and knew this was a winner BUT to see the finished product... I highly recommend this book to any with an interest in our colonial history and coinage. If there are a few out there that would not necessarily spend $50 for a book that is not dedicated to their main collecting interest, please let me know. I would be happy to give the ordering info to spouse or family for the holidays, birthday, anniversary, etc... You'll appreciate the book much more than those ties and sox!!! And today I received my Coin World with the monthly Colonial Americana article by Dan Freidus. This one is about the new Georgius Triumpho Mule. I hate to say it but I must get back to work now.
