OH! (duh!!) I'll be wanting a copy of this sale catalog, Ray. How do I contact the good Mr Kolbe? Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: Ray Williams To: colonial-coins@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 10:53 AM Subject: [Colonial Numismatics] Kolbe Sale 11/14/02
Hi Guys! Just got my Kolbe Sale catalog in the mail... Perusing through it I came to lot #851Titled:
Madigan, Thomas F., III The New Jersey Files: An Attribution Guide, with Information on the Die Stages, the Condition Census and updated Rarity Ratings.
There is a fairly elaborate description of the text and a suggested value of $100. Congratulations Tom! You've arrived. It's always great to see something about NJ's in these literature sales. One other lot caught my attention that I'd like to share.
Lot 1456 Ringo Rare Coin Auctions, Mike . The Midnight Sale. Private Auction Sale to be Held in the Luxurious Robert Martin Room of the 57 Park Plaza Hotel, April 28, 1991, Boston, Massachusetts, in Association with the 1991 EAC Convention.
The estimated value is $450 and there's almost a half page description of the history of this sale along with the names of the participants.
Back to work for me - I just thought I'd share this. Hope you've all made your reservations for Boston...
Ray W
