In my experience none of the mintage figures given by anyone,
including the coiners, for such copies and/or fantasies are
necessarily reliable.Breen's figure of 15 struck in brass comes
from Kenney, who found it in a Robinson fixed price list.
Robinson was more trustworthy than some others, say, like
Wuesthoff, but I'd still want to independently verify his
statement that only 15 were struck in brass and the dies
subsequently destroyed.
