First of all I have received the 1770 Micro 0
Counterfeit Halfpenny. I did not receive the RR40
yet. Discussion between Bill Anton and current owner
    still ongoing.

1770 Micro 0 Countereit Halfpenny is identical to the
piece that Byron Weston presently has in AU or UNC
condition. Bill Anton extends his congratulations to
    Bruce on his find.

As to the pieces or hoard that also included the
RR40s, the RR40s and the 1770s all had a wierd
patination. The entire hoard actually consists of two
seperation collections or groups that were bought from
one individual. The RR40s and the 1770s had
originally been in a leather pouch which subsequently
was subjected to a fire and buried. The other coins
were not and were not together.

The darkened and shiny areas are from the heat and
crystallization of the metal from heat. I have also
pictured below a 1783 Unity Cent which also had been
subjected to an intense fire. Fire does many wierd
things to coins all the way from entire destruction to
one face of a coin to a half a coin depending what it
    is next too.

Pictures are below. Byron, myself and others do have
matching 1770 Micro0's and anything further is mute in
    my opinion.

The RR40s are another matter entirely.
