    Dan & Tom,

    I went through the e-bay polocies last night as your post left me feeling not
    quite sure on this copyright issue. Tom like you I was under the assumption
    that pics posted on ebay that did not have a copyright symbol were free to
    public domain.

    E-bay is not very clear on this subject but they do make a statement about
    creator's of web pages have copyright protection even though the material
    does not need to be listed as such. They have this VeRO Program which was
    designed in helping ebay sellers of protected material.

    So I am second guessing myself as to this copyright issue and as you
    mentioned Dan that seeking the advice of an attorney familar with these laws
    would be the best advice before actually publishing pictures from any web
    site. If each seller is looked upon as being the creator of a web page than
    from what ebay is describing they are protected but as often with ebay they
    are not to clear on many subjects.
