Hello All,
I recieved confirmation from Volker Thompsen of Niton Corp that they will set
up on Saturday Nov 16th at the C-4 table to perform XRF measurements from
anyone interested in having their coins tested. Please email me if you have
a desire to have coins measured during C-4 and depending on the number of
people and number of coins I will be able to schedule what number of coins
each person can expect to get done in order to allow ample time for all
interested to have at least some of their coins tested........my email is
rg5turc@aol.com.
I will also be setting up my scale and laptop to record the data and a camera
to photograph coins with the owners permission. Volker is well versed in
metallurgy and looks forward to any questions from members during their
visit.
I have a special request that any owners of V14-84A's consider bringing your
coins for testing to possibly verify measurements that I recieved from my
example. The readings from my 14-84A were not that of sheet copper and I am
most interested in seeing if there are other examples that will share the
same composition as mine.
Take care,
Ray Turcotte
