Scrubbing the whole coin would produce a more pleasing overall effect. It will also greatly help in the resale value of the coin when it gets slabbed. However, on further thought, a better sample for analysis could be obtained by taking a drilling from the center of the coin (A core value, so to speak). I will plan to bring a drill to C-4 for use by anyone wishing to obtain true core values. Roger
