Well, my friend, if you were down here, you would have PLENTY of opportunity
to complain about the )*&*&()&^+_)+(*^$%%#! idiots who have NO CLUE how to
    drive in the rain.
This is due to the fact that ANY idiot can get a driver's licence down here,
(30% of the drivers don't have licences anyway, 55% have no insurance at all
= hit-and-runs are very frequent) and the majority of South Fla residents
come from countries where driving is not a routine activity, due to the
scarcity of cars and/or lack of the wherewithall or necessity to own and
drive one. So they arrive here, buy a car without a licence or insurance or
training, and are a menace to the rest of us. So when it rains.....!!!
The NASCAR circus was here recently (same weekend as C4 - I succeeded in not
attending either one in person) and no less a driver than Jeff Gordon
pronounced our section of I-95 as too dangerous to drive on. It rained
    slightly that weekend.
    Tom
