    Tom,
    I would like about 4oz of your MS-70 elixir as well.
    Speaking of Morgans the American and British clubs combined forces back
    in the summer of 1990 and drove their cars from New York to San
    Francisco. There were about 50 cars all told and they decided they had
    to stop in Morgantown to spend the night. Two trikes were a part of the
    4 wheel armada.

    I purchase only problem free, Gem UNC colonials, so I have no need of this
    solution...  oops, there's the alarm clock - I must have been dreaming. 
    I don't think there's a serious colonial collector that doesn't have a
    few coins in their collections that have problems as you describe.

    I tried it on some awful-looking Indian cents and it did an excellent job
    of removing the corrosion on most of them. Of course, it also removed the
    patina. I then experimented with some black and awful-looking large cents,
    carefully monitoring the progress and pulling them out BEFORE they became
    "bright". The surfaces were still pitted but the actual oxides that caused
    the pitting had been removed, thus preserving the coin. I then tried it
    on a few very dark rough or corroded counterfeits and removed the corrosion
