Thanks for weighing in on this subject Roger. Buell tells me
he has careful notes and was also able to come up with the
single loose-leaf auction sheet on the GMM creations.

The problem may be that... as I understand it ...the auction
of the ten GMM lots was held "in conjunction with" the
Barnes sale... which may mean almost anything from being
hammered down right after the last Barnes Sale lot to being
sold at a C4 club meeting held at the 10/96 convention. It is
hard to establish all the details when banging back and forth
with EMail messages but it sure beats the old SnailMail route.

The lots were donated by Ron Landis and sold for the benefit
of the C4 treasury so the auction could easily have been a
    separate event.

If we learn more about the specifics of the sale of the ten lots
I will happily rephrase what I have written thus far to reduce
    the chances for misunderstanding.

Does anyone else have any six year old memories/notes to
share with us on this research project?

Thanks again Roger. Take care- Verne
