I'm sure Byron is referring to the group of dealers based in
Massachusetts that list coins -- including colonials -- on ebay.
They seem to have the habit of regularly bidding on each others'
material. I'm guessing that you already are avoiding them, as they
are (or were) pretty obvious about it.
By the way, we should be careful using the term "gang of four",
because I think that is part of the email address of a well-known
(and honest!) collector/dealer/author in EAC by the name of Greg
Heim. We don't want to tar and feather the wrong person (gang?).
