EXTENSIVELY. I am just now asking him if he wishes to converse with
any of you who have also kept records on this Michigan stufff. This
could be it. Please email me on the group or maybe better privately
if you have info and wish to converse.

I don't know about "extensively" (sure, it's big, but give me 8 days
instead of 8 hours and I'll show you a tome! :) but I assume this
    refers to me :)

Firstly, greetings Group. Some of you may know me as ottor_waefre on
eBay, others probably don't. I share a slightly intersecting interest
with you, namely counterfeit British coins (including colonial
    coppers.)
Now moving swiftly on to the purpose of this post - I have spent a
few hours researching this phenomenon (for want of a better word.) I
am at the stage where I want to send my findings to eBay. However,
the file seems to be too big to fit in their silly little text box,
and I can't find an email address that will serve. I would be
extremely grateful for any suggestions as to how to forward it, and
since it is of potential interest to many people here and elsewhere,
I have taken the liberty of uploading it to the Group file area (hope
    that's OK).
It's basically a dossier making a pretty convincing case (IMHO) that
a shill-bidding scam is being perpetrated by a rather well-known eBay
character and a seemingly new sidekick.
It's at the stage where I'm happy to put my name to it and stand by
it (though I would be more than happy to consider any additional
relevant information/opinions on improvement/help in further research
before or after sending this chunk to eBay. Send now? Send after some
changes? Bury it totally you libellous fool? Whatever.)
So if you want to see all the grisly details, check out
T2L_shill_scam.TXT (proposed alert to eBay admin) in the files area.

    Thank you,

    Peter
