    I agree with John Agre on this. Seeing the pictures
    and getting a number of gradings from different
    individuals even if averaged out, results in an
    overall improvement of grading for most concerned.

    To pinpoint, the crux is that regardless of what we
    collectively or Alan come up with, it is moot when
    somebody like Mike Hodder (Sorry, to pick on you)
    grades a coin for an auction that most of us agree is
    XF-40 and he grades if VF-25. Once plated in the
    catalog guess what most people are going to use for
    reference.

    So, send the pictures and let us start learning more
    about the die varieties of the Virginia Halfpence.
    At the least, we are more knowledgeable.
