This is a heads up for those of you who do not know the Voce Populi
series. Two different fakes of the large letter farthing have recently
been put up on ebay as the real thing. We discussed this a little bit
back in early December but I didn't post any pictures. These are Peter
Rosa copies from the 1960's and they do not have word copy on them. I
ended up stopping both auctions not due to the sellers but because of
the buyers finding this out. The bidding was up to $350 at that time.
They all thanked me and I let them know about C4. I'm attaching the
picture of the coin that was on ebay yesterday and also earlier in the
month. I'm also posting examples of the copy and the real thing from my
collection.
