Just my personal opinion, but Collector's Universe (owner of PCGS and B= owers & Merena) made a grave mistake firing Q David Bowers. Dave is an Ico= n in Numismatics! He has influenced each and every one of us in a positive= way. Some people refer to shooting one's self in the foot... This is a c= ase of shooting one's self in the head. The name Bowers & Merena should ju= st be changed to Collector's Universe now - why have any connection to the = name "Bowers"? While I'm on my soap box, I personally have wondered about = what I perceive as a conflict of interest when the same company that sells = slabs is also doing the slabbing. I don't know that anything fishy is goin= g on but the potential is there. I had another thought that I wasn't going= to share, but while I'm on a roll... How cool would it be if QDB was part= of the Stack's organization! I don't know the personalities involved or t= he logistics of that happening, but what a team that would make. Okay, I'v= e stirred the hornet's nest enough. Any opinions from y'all.
