    I don't know the specifics of the situation, but I would certainly
    agree that things must have been pretty bad - probably more like
    horrendous - for CU to make this move.

    The timing of the move - January after poor LY results - is typical,
    but I have to assume this had been 'in the works' for a long time.

    I've seen it many times before - sell out to the big boys and make
    big money with the potential for much more. Everythings great as
    long as you deliver. Miss your numbers - repeatedly - and be shown
    the door.

    External indications of B&Ms business looked lousy to me. Generally
    stagnant inventories, what have to be hugely inefficient mailings vs
    Heritage and others with their state of the art websites, etc.
