Interesting perspective, Roger, but my need to write came purely from the fact that what was being written was obviously, not to mention very grossly, in error. The more traditional or conservative ways of looking at things and writing about them just wasn't for me - it made no sense to me whatsoever. Some people, I have found, like to write simply because they think they can, relying heavily on overused and outdated catchwords or phrases. These are the anal retentives. As for what got me into it in the first place, well, I think that's been well enough documented in my case; I was blindsided by Jim Spilman!<s> Byron
