    All,

Like everyone, it is hard to pick a favorite coin. They are all favorites in
different ways. So instead, I thought I might a do a few interesting ones.

I will start with the attached Maris 76-cc. For the non NJ afficianados, this
may look like a fairly common Running Fox variety. But, notice that the
Running Fox is on the bottom right rather than left side of the reverse. In
Dr. Maris' letter to T. Harrison Garrett in 1885 where he attempts to sell
him his whole collection in tact, this is the one coin Dr. Maris singled out
as importantly being in his collection.

I may try to get a few more in over the weekend.

    Best,

    Roger
